Sponsoring COCO Ball

COCO Ball 2018

Last month we were lucky enough to sponsor and attend the wonderful COCO Ball. The amazing COCO is a children's charity based in Newcastle-upon-tyne, however their work helps children around the world. They provide 'sustainable sources of quality education to children living in poor and marginalised communities'. Endeavouring  to a world where 'every child has access to a quality education.' COCO work tirelessly all year round to make this vision a reality, one of their highlights being the annual COCO ball. The party hats came out as we joined them at The Crown Plaza Newcastle for a wonderful evening of dinner, dancing and the odd G&T!

Children's Book theme

Luckily for us the theme of the evening was children's books, a subject close to all our hearts! Meaning with the help of our sister company Bang on Print (that prints all our lovely stories!) We were able to donate programmes and place settings for the evening. We also created a discount code for Santa SocksThe Golden Key and Unicorn Oo . The code entitled the user to a discount for books ordered and also donated £2 to COCO for each one sold. We love the thought that our books are not only bringing joy to the receiver but also doing some good to less fortunate communities. We had such a wonderful evening at the COCO ball. The fizz was certainly flowing fast and may have been a direct result of us taking none of our own photos! We did however manage to find one of lovely  'Queen' Natalie wearing our table's crown!

Well done COCO!

Post event we were thrilled to here that COCO ball 2018 was their...
best EVER, raising a record £20,500 to support... work in East Africa!
