In this – her debut book – Shirley Morgan sets out to tackle children’s insecurities and differences, seeking to see the world through a child’s eyes while offering compassionate and thoughtful solutions. She wrote it to help her own child deal with an incident of prejudice.

A former journalist who is now an events manager and lay minister, Shirley lives in the North East of England with her husband and children.
